About Competition:

The International Conference on “Artificial Intelligence and the Rule of Law: Challenges of Accountability, Transparency, and Fairness” offers a global platform to explore how intelligent technologies intersect with justice, legality, and human rights. It brings together jurists, policymakers, technologists, researchers, and advocates for a multidisciplinary dialogue on AI governance. The conference will examine AI’s impact in areas such as child protection, consumer rights, privacy, judicial decision-making, dispute resolution, and environmental governance. Participants will assess the adequacy of current legal frameworks, identify regulatory gaps, and propose rights-based approaches to algorithmic accountability. Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, the event emphasizes the need to uphold the Rule of Law in AI deployment. It calls for inclusive, transparent, and accountable systems that protect fundamental rights and ensure human oversight in AI-driven governance. Through keynotes, expert panels, and international case studies, the conference will explore whether AI can be held accountable to law, ensure fairness, and maintain transparency in justice delivery. It aims to foster global collaboration, share ethical frameworks, and advance responsible AI that supports democratic values and human dignity.
